La Lampe Allumette

La Lampe Allumette revisite la traditionnelle allumette en remplaçant l'incandescence du soufre et la combustion du bois par des LED intégrées dans l'épaisseur de la lampe. Cette lampe possède trois positions afin d’offrir un spectre particulier pour différents besoins :
éclairage de bureau, lumière d’ambiance, lampe de chevet.

Une allumette est un objet éphémère.

Sa "vie" se décompose en trois étapes : l'embrasement, la combustion et la tragique fin... A défaut de voir sa flamme s'éteindre progressivement,

la lampe allumette ne meurt pas et les braises continuent de scintiller indéfiniment.

The Match Lamp reimagines the traditional match by replacing the sulfur incandescence and wood combustion with integrated LEDs within the thickness of the lamp. This lamp has three positions to provide a specific spectrum for different needs: desk lighting, ambient light, and bedside lamp.

A match is a fleeting object.

Its "life" is divided into three stages: ignition, combustion, and the tragic end... In the absence of seeing its flame gradually extinguish, the match lamp does not die, and the embers continue to twinkle indefinitely.

L’allumette moderne fût inventée en 1805 par Jean-Joseph-Louis Chancel à Paris, puis modifiée par divers protagonistes.

C'est la Société “ Seita “, plus connue pour la vente de tabac qui en obtint finalement le monopole,

en la distribuant sous le nom de“ L’allumette française “ pendant 120 ans.

Le boîtier de la lampe qui contient le transformateur en est directement inspiré.

The modern matchstick was invented in 1805 by Jean-Joseph-Louis Chancel in Paris, and later modified by various individuals.

The "Seita" company, better known for tobacco sales, eventually obtained a monopoly on it, distributing it under the name "The French Match" for 120 years.

The lamp's housing, which contains the transformer, is directly inspired by it.
