Le miroir truelle
The workman's trowel is recreated as a hand mirror.
The handle is walnut and the metallic parts arestainless steel.
The mirror trowel alludes to the XVII and XVIII centuries,
where the bourgeoisie and the aristocracy would whiten their faces excessively with white lead.
Under the Ancient Regime, having a white face was symbolic of elitism.

The concept
" Le miroir truelle " combines two radically opposing
worlds: construction work, and aesthetics.
“ To make oneself up with trowel “.
The trowel remains nonetheless an object of construction and smoothing - also reflecting a quest for perfection.
This mirror is destined for those who recognise that beauty goes beyond the reflection.
